With twenty-four editions behind it, Gray Cat reconfirms one of the most prestigious and long-lived events in the national framework of jazz music festivals.

Priceless locations such as the Teatro delle Rocce in Gavorrano or Rocca di Frassinello, the winery designed by Renzo Piano, are the backdrop to the meeting of the undisputed leaders of the national and international jazz scene and young talents.

Manciano, second weekend of September
With the arrival of September, wine festivals are celebrated. You can easily spend every day of the month with a glass of wine in hand, passing from one party to another, but Manciano welcomes the most important. The Carriere del 19 is a historical and folkloristic re-enactment that surely represents the most felt event of the village of Scarlino, which is celebrated every year on August 19th.

For a day, the town becomes a great theater, where the three districts Rocca, Centro and San Donato, fight on several fronts, from relays to competitions among archers, to theatrical performances, for a challenge that lasts the whole day. fascinates everyone, young and old.

The streets of the village become a theater animated by the contradaioli and the town decorated with wooden cathedrals and papier-mâché castles becomes the scene of a day of duels and tenzons.

The official party begins in the afternoon and goes on until late at night.

Born in 2005 on the slopes of Mount Amiata, the Amiata Piano Festival has been characterized from the beginning for its strong international musical imprint, in a landscape of rare beauty and in an enological context of absolute prestige.
